As some of our friends know, we have been on a plant-based diet for some years now. Nina has been on that dietary path for the past 8 years and Leo for more than 4 years. Our reason for doing so was mainly for health purposes. Nina has been hypertensive since her late ‘20s and Leo discovered that he was diabetic back in 2018 (he probably had that condition 2 years before but did not have any medical check-ups during that period).

Teaching and Preaching in the New Testament Might Be Different from What You Think

When I was working as a facilitator for leadership development in our former Christian organization, I conducted a quick survey at a group session. I queried the participants on what they believe have contributed most to their leadership growth and personal maturity. Most of their answers belonged to such categories as ministry and personal challenges, relationships with and exposure to people they admired and an environment that was conducive to growth. To this group’s surprise very few mentions were made about the impact of formal education including traditional classes, seminars, sermons and lectures.
